Struggles of the new normal in education

During pandemic times, the quality of education suffers. Let us discuss the state of education in the Philippines at the present time.

The Philippines is a newly developing country although some sectors of the society is not fully developed. The rural areas are not technologically advanced. Since the health protocols now prohibit physical closeness normal classes are prohibited. There is no physical interaction between teacher and students, sometimes, the student relies on parents for information and instruction which the modules sometimes cannot provide.

The Philippines must vaccinate 70% of its population in order to reduce if not terminate the virus. Minors must be inoculated so that we can go back to the normal situation as before. The Philippines educational system must return to the face to face mode of learning in order that quality education is achieved.

  3. As a student I also hope for face-to-face classes. This new system of education wasn't easy especially for me that self study is not really my thing. And also, there A lot of interruptions and distractions in my home that I can't really focus on my study. Let's jsut hope to have the proper education again.

  4. I got to agree with your statement, the quality education this pandemic is not that good. It's not like every student can go through it without getting challenged because of the learning modalities, they can just tell their parents, guardians or tutors to answer them; they would learn less. So I am hopeful that every student can get vaccinated soon so we can go back to school face-to-face where we can have more fun with friends and in learning. <3

  5. Every student deserves to have quality education. It is quite difficult for us learners to study in this time of pandemic because we lack the basic qualities that are essential for learning. Nonetheless, we must remain positive and hope for the best. Stay safe always!

  7. I definitely agree with your point. I really hope the anti-covid vaccines will be able to help us get protected from the deadly virus we are facing as of now so we can go back to our schools for a face-to-face class.
